Passionate About Connecting Plants & People

My journey with plants began in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. One of my best friends growing up had a botanist for a father and once he introduced me to ghost pipe and partridge berry I was connected. I began to pour over books about edible and medicinal plants, learning little bits about their attributes and uses wherever I could. I then found and learned so much more from Michelle Apland at the Flying Deer Nature center. Together we made tea from the bark of black birch trees and salve from comfrey roots.

In my teens I was lucky enough to meet and apprentice with Marguerite Ulhmann-Bower of Plant Pioneers. It was then that the beauty of plant beings really became apparent to me, and I began to be enchanted with the way that plants can support humans physically, emotionally and spiritually.

In 2016 I went to California to study at the Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine with Karyn Sanders and Sarah Holmes. Here I made deep connections with the plants and with myself. Continuing my journey I returned to Blue Otter in 2019 for their Advanced Clinical Program

When working with clients I bring over a decade of Herbal study, helping them to work with the plants and themselves to learn new possibilities and move more fully into their most vibrant and present selves.
